The Louisiana Cancer Foundation was founded in 1999

... by the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute and obtained its 501 (c) (3) status in early 2000. The purpose of the LCF is to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. Services of the LCF are maintained through grants, fundraisers and private and corporate contributions.

ULM nursing receives $10,000 donation

The Louisiana Cancer Foundation (LCF) presented a check for $10,000 to Dr. Benny Blaylock, dean of University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Dr. Wendy Bailes, associate director of the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing.
