The Louisiana Cancer Foundation was founded in 1999

... by the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute and obtained its 501 (c) (3) status in early 2000. The purpose of the LCF is to increase public awareness, early detection, treatment and research for cancer throughout Northeast Louisiana. Services of the LCF are maintained through grants, fundraisers and private and corporate contributions.

Ladies of the Lake Donation

“Ladies of the Lake” raised over $7,000 for the Louisiana Cancer Foundation from “Paddling for the Cure” kayak races held September 10th at Caney Lake.
